What initially appeared to be a localized problem required a more complete remediation process once the affected materials were opened and inspected. Our team handled the project from the initial moisture investigation and mold remediation through structural drying and final reconstruction. The work included:
One of the most important parts of mold remediation is addressing the source of moisture and confirming that affected structural materials are properly dried before reconstruction begins. Simply covering visible mold or replacing surface materials without addressing the underlying moisture can leave the original problem unresolved. In this project, moisture levels were monitored throughout the drying process before reconstruction moved forward. Once remediation and drying were completed, we rebuilt the affected areas and restored the room with new drywall, finishing, paint, and baseboards. The before-and-after photos show the complete process — from discovering extensive hidden mold damage to the finished, restored room.
